DCProof QC Report

The QC Report is a full quality-control and content-control review of a single piece of short-form content — an ad or a trailer — delivered as a PDF report for reviewers and a JSON file for automated workflows.

What it checks

Technical quality

Is the file ready for the screen it's headed to?

  • Container, codec, video resolution, frame rate, interlacing and aspect ratio
  • Audio channels (mono / stereo / surround), levels and loudness
  • Black frames, freeze frames and silent passages
  • Duration versus the booked slot length

Content control

What will the audience actually see and hear?

  • A scene-by-scene description of the visuals
  • A transcript of spoken audio and on-screen text
  • Language verification — the language of the spoken voice-over and of on-screen subtitles, so the French version never plays on the Flemish screen
  • Flags for content that may need review: violence, fear, substances, language, nudity and other sensitive categories
  • Everything timecoded — each finding points to the exact moment in the file

Who uses it

  • Publishers and exhibitors screening incoming copy before it plays
  • Agencies and production houses verifying deliverables before shipping
  • Advertisers confirming that what runs is what was approved

In and out of your workflow

Submit each video through the API or a simple submit-URL interface. Per input video you get back:

Format For
PDF Human review — a clean, shareable document with excerpts and timecodes
JSON Machine workflows — feed findings straight into your ingest or traffic system

The QC Report slots into the workflow you already have — a human reads the PDF, or your system processes the JSON and decides what needs eyes.

Need an age-rating decision?

The DCProof Age Report is a companion review web app built on the same engine: jump between the timecoded moments of interest and record the rating decision for your target market.
